Israel warns: free soldier or Palestinian Prime Minister dies
ISRAEL last night threatened to assassinate Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh if Hamas militants did not release a captured Israeli soldier unharmed.

The unprecedented warning was delivered to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in a letter as Israel debated a deal offered by Hamas to free Corporal Gilad Shalit.

It came as Israeli military officials readied a second invasion force for a huge offensive into Gaza.

Hamas's Gaza-based political leaders, including Mr Haniyeh, had already gone into hiding. ...

rhymnrzn, I'm very well aware that the Islamic problem will only be cured by the return of Christ. There are even violent Muslims who have turned to Christ, e.g.,
http://www.levitt.tv
and others,

http://answering-islam.org/Testimonies/

One should always remember,

http://www.bibleprobe.com/muhammad.htm

One should be satisfied for the moment that Israel is fighting our battles, and we should give them all the aid they need. Sarah, I like your comments, hmmm, I do see that one should point out there is a dispensational viewpoint as well.

That's a good, biblically sound position - God bless you! Not a popular stance in the west amongst modern day Christendom though.

Michael: the doctrine of Christ says the wrath of men does not work the will of God, and that love worketh no ill. You mention Hitler, as if he was someone to fear, when Scripture plainly states that we shall not fear the people of the land, or the face of man, but we shall fear the Lord God only, because it is presently a much more fearful thing to fall into his hand.

If you want to take up arms, I will not be keeping company. As for me, the Lord Jesus Christ will be my sword, and faith will be my shield.

rhymnrzn from tulsa,
Be carefull how you judge or in this case preach. If you have any concept of the fallen sinfulness of men you may remember Chamberlain bent over backwards to have peace, an absence of violent conflict with Adolph Hitler in Europe prior to WWII. Sometimes peace or the wishful pretending we can have peace with the wicked can cost millions of lives more than a brief violent decisive military action would.

I love peace my friend but sometimes a false peace cost far too many lives in the end. May God help us to have His wisdom and the courage to live it. If we really love people sometimes in this fallen world we have to show that by taking up arms to defend our country and our families and fight against evil and wicked men.

Jim, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified that even Muslims may come to know God in due time. He who was crucified taught us to forgive, that WE may be forgiven. He who was crucified commanded us to do unto others ONLY as we would have done to ourselves.

Seeing that there are even "Christians" who break these great commandments, no suprise when some Muslims continue to reject the one messenger who died for them.

John Y., did you actually make those comments? Those are even a little strident for you.

However, as a person who had been a Catholic for 30 years put it, come out of the Catholic Church!

http://www.johnankerberg.org/Articles/roman-catholicism/RC0203W1.htm

and Catholics and Muslims do have too much in common,

http://www.johnankerberg.org/Articles/roman-catholicism/RC1101W2.htm

The above is a good article for anyone to read who think Christians and Muslims have anything in common.

Somebody tell self-named Israel and Palestinians to love their enemies, to do good to them that hate them, to bless, and curse not, to feed and clothe their enemies.

And if you claim to be Christian and support war, then you are a daughter of the whore, an uncircumcised Chaldean in agreement with the mother of abominations.

The "lost, but religious" crowd have always accused Bible believing Christians of being unlearned and ignorant (Acts 4:13) - you are in FINE company!

"We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error."

DeWalt Worthington,

The KJV only people's grammar stinks?

These are some grammatical mistakes you made:

"Israeli's" should be "Israelis" (plural not possessive)

"Independance" should be "Independence" (incorrect spelling)

"every bomb, every strategy" should be "every bomb, and every strategy" (faulty parallelism)

"Probably the only thing still made in America, since our jobs are being outsourced by these patriotic, corporate bribed politicians we laughingly call leaders" (sentence fragment)

Practising some selective forgetfulness here neighbor?

Seems from it's founding Islam has been a threat to all its non-Muslim neighbors. They're really not a very tolerant bunch these practitioners of the "religion of peace" are they.

The Israeli's have proven that the sons of the oppressed can become oppressors themselves. The Americans have proven (on this Independance Day weekend no less) that the nation born of those seeking freedom from Colonial Imperialsim can master Colonial Imperialism themselves. Remember all you Israeli worshipers, every gun, every bullet, every plane, every bomb, every strategy those Zionist Nazis employ, is made in America. Probably the only thing still made in America, since our jobs are being outsourced by these patriotic, corporate bribed politicians we laughingly call leaders. What problems did anybody have with Moslems until A) The European Pope decided he wanted their land for his chapels, shrines etc during the time of the Crusades & B) the English occupied their land, then C) gave it to the Zionists who bought off the English politicians, then D) the U.S. did the same thing. All 4 of course, using the Bible for an excuse. All this misery for avarice in the name of God, no less! P.S. For KJV only people, your grammar stinks.

Quoted claim "....the U.S. soldiers who plotted for over a week to rape an Iraqi woman"

Yeah, that sounds really likely. All criminals plot such rapes and multiple murders well in advance dont they?

But you were there and saw it, of course.... You wouldn't have just read this in the media and believed it would you?

George W. and the USA could really learn some lessons on war from these folks.

Did you look in the mirror first, Loony? oh sorry, Loomis.
How about pointing the finger at the horrible atrocities at how islam treats its people. Especially against christians. Beaten, murders, rapes. Taking their homes by force. Christians literally have NO RIGHTS as far as islam is concerned. I am not stickin upp for what the US soldiers have done, but before you pass the buck make sure you do a thorough sifting at how hamas treats their own people.
Incidently, Yurich, NOT ALL PROTESTANTS ARE INSANE ...LOUSY, ETC. Since when you decided to put a labelon all of Protestants. If it wasnt for Protestants. The inquisition will still be running rampant in this day and age.

Finally, if you cant stand us, WHAY ARE YOU HERE ON SERMONAUDIO.COM.
Go visit your catholic or whatever sites. ''If you cant stand the heat, dont stay in the kitchen!''

I would like to invite the owner of this site to publish some accounts of the U.S. soldiers who plotted for over a week to rape an Iraqi woman, and then murder her, her child, and three other members of her family. This event led to the "insurgents" mutilating 2 U.S. soldiers from the same platoon. This then leading to a soldier from the platoon "feeling guilty" about thier disgusting actions leading to the two soldiers predicament. The number of atrocities being perpetrated by U.S. soldiers is making me less and less sure that the President's concern about "press leaks" is about national security. Many of these "heroic" U.S. soldiers are behaving as though they are nothing less than thugs who were looking for a "legal" way to ply their murderous trade so they joined up. The Israelis and the U.S. are conducting atrocities and genocide against Moslem people and "Evangelical" "Fundamentalist" and blindly patriotic Catholics are endorsing this in the name of Christ. If you're looking for "blasphemy" ( a word you people love to throw around) try looking in the mirror.

Chris M.,

Not only do the Moslems have rocks in their heads but so do you lousy and insane Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestants on here. You lousy and insane Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestants on here need to repent of all that hatred in your hearts for all churches that are not Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestant Churches. Why do you guys think that the only True Churches are the Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestant Churches? Where do you guys come up with that nonsense?
