Britney Spears quits church

Britney Spears has stopped following Kabbalah because leaders of the controversial church kept pestering her for money, according to reports.

Britney wrote on her website, â€œI no longer study Kaballah, my baby is my religion.â€

However insiders say itâ€™s because the church kept asking Britney to â€˜titheâ€™, which is to donate a percentage of her earnings to the church.

For "church" read "cult" I guess. It says they "kept pestering her for money". I wonder why more of the rich and infamous people who are in cults don't wise up and get out, too.

Mike, I agree with you that she did not quit church but I will also let you know that 'church' simply means an assembly, therefore saying that she quitted the church as stated by the reporter is still right. However, what I think it should be is that she DID NOT quit the CHURCH OF GOD because she wasn't part of it anyway. On the other hand, I believe that the second reason why she quitted the gathering was because she was looking for a 'religion' as she stated that "I no longer study Kaballah, my baby is my religion", which she cannot find in Kabbalah because it is not a 'religion' as stated by Kabbalah's website. What she needs is Jesus Christ, Period!
