OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (Reuters) - The dodos came home to roost on Thursday in Kansas with the unveiling of a documentary film exploring the ongoing U.S. debate over how evolution should be taught to school children.
A sold-out crowd of about 300 attended the screening in Overland Park, Kansas, of "Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus."
Mixing dancing dodos with discussions of embryonic research, politics and religion, the film examines the strengths and weaknesses both of the mainstream science community, which sees evolution as a key scientific principle, and proponents of "intelligent design," who believe the complexity of life forms is due in part to a creative entity....
I think MSC, the maker of the picture was trying to be as insulting as possible to Creationists. The Dodo wasn't the only bird brought to extinciton in the South Pacific, I think quite few flightless birds have went the way of the Dodo.
