It is time to pass the offering buckets at World Changers Church New York, and Troy and Cheryal Anderson are eager to give the Lord his due. They wave their blue offering envelope overhead, as all around them worshipers whoop and holler their praises to God.
Inside the envelope is 10 percent of the weekly pay Mr. Anderson takes home as an electrician's apprentice - he earns about $30,000 a year - and a little more for the church's building fund.
The Andersons, who live in the Bronx, are struggling financially. A few weeks ago, the couple, who have two young children, had no money to buy groceries. But they believe what their pastor, the Rev. Creflo A. Dollar Jr., said on this recent Saturday night about the offering time: "It's opportunity for prosperity."
"Remember," said Mr. Dollar, a familiar figure across the country because of his "Changing Your World" television show and best-selling...
Probably the only thing Mr. Dollar would not agree with is labeling him a schismatic or heretic and/or false teacher. And most likely he'd react with the Word-Faith teachers' favorite defense verse: "Touch not mine annointed...."
Mr. Dollar may agree, but does he actually practice this? I don't think so, because they are always persuading the masses to give them money, as if they need more money.
Creflo is not in sheeps clothing. He is an obvious wolf in WOLFS clothing to any discerning Biblical disciple of Christ.
Nor is this a case of one of Satan's angels appearing as an angel of light. I only pray for the Grace to not laugh out loud when I see the Judge say to him on That Day..."depart from Me, you who work iniquity, I never knew you!!"
Creflo A. Dollar is his actual name, not a nome-de-guerre. I saw this article, and was sad that he is getting more and more warped by this prosperity gospel. I followed his ministry many years ago when he was much less excessive, and he has gotten more and more into that lifestyle of money and worldliness. He started out preaching much conventional Southern Baptist stuff, although with a strong Pentecostal/Arminian slant, but he really got sucked into the prosperity and word of faith heresies, and now look at him.
DB Too bad Creflo Dollar wasn't around in Jesus' time, Jesus must not have planted the right seeds.

This Creflo Dollar is in my opinion a ravaging wolf in sheeps clothing. Another one of these word of faith people who say if God does not answer you prayer wish list, or if they lay there hands on you and you are not healed it was because you did not have enough faith. This literally nauseates me!
It is a mockery unto Christianity for someone to preach the falsehood this guy does and then use a name like "DOLLAR". I mean how much more of a stupid idiot can someone be to use Dollar as his last name.
This guy is an endless source of jokes for the world's comedians to make mockery and blasphemy of so called "christianity is a con game" using him as their example.
He needs to repent, then change his last name to stop making a mockery of Christianity to the world and give up public ministry.
Now he just wants your Dollar to Flo to him.
He is one of the types that needs to sell all he has and give to the poor, then start over and follow Jesus and the true gospel rejecting extortion and coveteous false teachings.

Bruce, Christ, is never found in such gatherings. A Tupperware party of the '50s would be more Christian. The leader of the pack, is certainly making money off of his clients.

Rolls Royces, jets, million dollar+homes.Where is Jesus in all these things. Remember that gospel says that Blessed are the poor in spirit, Blessed are the meek, the humble. All this prosperity gospel is nothing but give and get. Definately, Hebrews Chapter 11:38 does not include Mr Dollar and all the other grievous wolves entering into the flock.
