Scientists to check Nepal Buddha boy

A meditating teenage boy in south-central Nepal is drawing the attention of scientists after attracting huge crowds in the past six months and earning himself the name Buddha-reincarnate.

They are mulling over how to examine him without disturbing his meditation.

Ram Bahadur Bamjan's friends, relatives and managers say he has been meditating without drinking water for six months now and that he will carry on for another six years until he gains enlightenment - as did the Buddha some 250km (160 miles) away in Lumbini in western Nepal.

Word spread quickly about the teenager and people around Ratanapuri village in Bara district began to visit Bamjan, 15, who has been sitting cross-legged in a traditional Buddha posture under a peepal tree. ...

Since the boy ain't talking, it's kind of hard to evaluate his prophetic credentials, isn't it? Silent prophets ain't much help.

Demonic deception is another possibility here, as in Ex. 7:11.

Andrew from Virginia, had a very good testimony about Christianity in the December article about this sick world. Speaking of sick, this lack of activity and other deprivations are going to make this country/world disappear probably like the original culprits of narrow minded elitists, from ill health. They should get a doctor there to america and the rest of the world to disturb their meditations before it is too late.

---------------------------------

Can you imagine just how pathetic this is going to
look on judgement day? All those individuals throughout
history claiming to be the same person (Jesus) standing
there awaiting God's judgement for their sins.
"I'm Jesus!"..."no, I'M Jesus!!..."no, you're BOTH
wrong, I'm Jesus!!!"...etc.

Were it not so incredibly sad it'd be HILLARIOUS.

Lemmings 4:20

------------------------------------

How about burning witches from his nostrils, that outta wake up this "christian" boy.

----------------------

Isn't it amazing how we are all so quick to judge because we are all so narrow minded we can't imagine anyone else "getting it" when we don't. We are obviously living in the dark ages. And you guys obviously would have killed jesus if he was around too. Think about it, someone who hasn't consumed in 6 months, can you ever imagine so

Jessica from Canada, had a very good testimony about Buddhism in the November article about this sick teenager. Speaking a sick, this lack of activity and other deprivations are going to make this kid disappear probably like the original Buddha, from ill health. They should get a doctor there to disturb his meditation before it is too late.
