Bill Clinton is fully engaged in the contest to be the best ex-president of the United States. This week, in New York, he will host the first global meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), a super-NGO with grand goals such as the promotion of economic growth without environmental impact and the conciliation of religious differences as a way to end terrorism. What Mr. Clinton is doing is rehabing his image and stature as a ineffective ex-president. He had 8 years to do the right thing, but he didn't. I assume he is campaigning to be the next secretary of the U.N.!! Boy would that be a debacle? I belive he is preparing himself for Hillary in 2008! This man does nothing unless it has an advantage for himself.
He is trying to make up for all the time he wasted on extra-curricular activities he was doing while he was President, or for that matter, Governor of Arkansas. ;-) However, I certainly have nothing against him trying to do some good.
