Modern-day evangelist Curt W. Nordhielm uses census data and the Bible to bring Christ's teachings to New Hampshire, considered part of a vast unchurched wasteland ripe for conversion.
"There are people who sit around in dusty old offices like mine reading the census stuff and looking at where churches are and aren't and New England gets picked," Nordhielm said.
A staff member with Restoration House Ministries in Manchester and pastor of newly formed Oasis Christian Church in Concord, Nordhielm's job is to open new independent, evangelical Christian churches in New Hampshire and any other New England state his census data points him.

New Hampshire was one of the hottest Christian areas during the second great awakening. Free Will Baptists founded hundreds of churches there, but when many merged with the Northern (American) Baptist church, they grew liberal and died spiritually. What we have in NH is a harvest ready to be reaped! Pray ye the Lord of the harvest, that he may send workers out to the fields.
