Opportunity rover reveals an alien Mars

This image shows one of the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity's first breathtaking views of the martian landscape after its successful landing at Meridiani Planum on Mars.

Exactly three weeks after its identical twin set down on Mars, NASA’s Opportunity rover landed late Saturday and sent back pictures of Martian terrain unlike any seen before.

Scientists had expected that Opportunity's landing site would look markedly different from the rock-strewn landscapes that surrounded the Spirit rover as well as the Pathfinder and Viking landers ‚ÄĒ and they were right.

The first crop of black-and-white pictures showed what appeared to be a plain of dark soil so fine it was imprinted with the trails of the airbags that cushioned Opportunity's landing. In the distance, blocky slabs of lighter rock poked up through the soil.

"I'm flabbergasted. I'm astonished. I'm blown away," Steve Squyres, principal investigator for rover science, said early Sunday during a news briefing at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "Opportunity has touched down in a bizarre, ...

Dr. Stone,

Considering the fact that Jesus was born by the woman, we have to accept that his body contained 70% of water.

Need to respect it, right?

Sid

NASA is dishonest about the connection between water and life. Yes, of course, water is NECESSARY for the existence of life. But oceans full of water, even if saturated with organic molecules, cannot produce life through chemical processes. It's well know in even the evolutionary literature that a small functional protein contains vast information and design content. A "simple" bacterium has far more complexity than a supercomputer or any other construct of man. Biological science has always demonstrated that life comes from life. So where did the first life come from? It had to be from the source of life, the Lord Jesus Christ who is both life and the light of the world. I thank God that he knew me before I was even formed, as Jeremiah relates in Chapter one of his book and David in Psalm 139:13-16. It's UNSCIENTIFIC to presume otherwise and, in fact, an insult to the Creator who has given us his words in the Bible -- that can be trusted from Genesis to Revelation.
