Alabama county blocks in-school Bible distribution
ATHENS, Ala. (AP) -- Local school officials have banned the distribution of Gideons Bibles in public schools after a parent threatened to file suit.
Limestone County Superintendent Barry Carroll said a parent complained after the Christian organization held its annual Bible distribution for fifth-graders.
Bob Lambert, the president of the local Gideons chapter, said the organization would abide by the decision and did not want any publicity for fear it would compromise Bible giveaways elsewhere.
"We seek other methods to accomplish our goals," Lambert said.

It took one Atheist to stop prayers at assemblies all over the USA. She was later saved and she tried to get it reversed, but it's a law now. An Athiest tried to stop a church being built in the UK by refusing any offer to sell his part of the development. The members prayed (not knowing at the time what was holding up the work God had directed them to do) for the obstical to be removed. The Atheist continued to fight against God and died after a few days. The church was built and blessed by God. I think we should pray for this person's salvation before he meets the God he doesn't believe in and the laws are changed against God again. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD" Psalm 33: 12
