An Israeli army bulldozer demolishes part of Yasser Arafat's compound in Ramallah Sunday.
RAMALLAH, West Bank  — Four Palestinian demonstrators were killed by Israeli army fire Sunday after thousands violated military curfews and poured into West Bank and Gaza streets to protest Israel's incursion on Yasser Arafat's headquarters.
A Palestinian teenager was later killed in Nablus, according to residents.
According to witnesses, Israeli troops at the Ramallah compound threatened over loudspeakers to blow up the building where Arafat is staying unless the wanted men inside surrendered, witnesses said.
However, Israel has said it has no intention to harm Arafat, and the army later said it does not plan on blowing up the building.
