Archbishop will bless the wedding of Charles and Camilla in church

Dr Rowan Williams, chosen by Tony Blair as the next Archbishop of Canterbury, is to give his blessing to the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles marrying in church, say senior aides.
Dr Williams, the Archbishop of Wales, believes that the couple should be treated "as any other" were they to decide to marry, his closest colleagues have told The Telegraph. He believes that the Prince and Mrs Parker Bowles would meet new rules governing the remarriage of divorcees introduced last Tuesday by the General Synod, the Church of England's ruling body, the aides revealed.
Dr Williams's views contradict the last public statement on the issue by Dr George Carey, the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury. Dr Carey said five years ago that a church wedding for Prince Charles, who will become the Supreme Governor of the Church of England when he accedes to the throne, "would cause a crisis for the Church". ...
