Constitutional rights win out in gospel sharing incident
A Wisconsin pastor will not be barred from sharing the gospel in future Harley-Davidson Festivals in Greenfield, Wisconsin.
On August 28th, David Murray and a friend, Dan Lawrence, went to the area to express their religious faith and distribute Bibles at the festival. Security officers and Greenfield police ordered them to stop or face arrest. Alliance Defending Freedom dispatched a letter outlining the pair's constitutional rights, and Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt responded by saying officers had been advised to permit the activity in the future....
