Church incomes affected by recession, flat levels of giving
The worst economic downturn since the Great Depression continues to pinch church finances across the nation, but churches in Tulsa are coping, and some are seeing improvement in the collection plate.
"It's been a rough couple of years," said the Rev. Charles Cruce, with the Tulsa Metro Baptist Network.
"There's a faint glimmer of hope out there, but we're not out of the woods yet."
