Psalm 67 - 2nd Version
Psalm 67
DURHAM  |  Same-Tune Hymns  |  Bible Passage
Author: Scottish Psalter
Musician: Ravenscroft's Psalter, 1621

1   O GOD, be merciful to us,
          And bless us, in thy grace;
     And do thou cause to shine on us
          The brightness of thy face:
2   That so thy way upon the earth
          To all men may be known;
     Also among the nations all
          Thy saving health be shown.

3   Let people give thee praise, O God;
          Let people all thee praise.
4   O let the nations joyful be,
          In songs their voices raise.
     For justly thou shalt people judge,
          And nations rule on earth.
5   Let people give thee praise, O God;
          Let all praise thee with mirth.

6   The earth her increase yielded hath;
          God, our God, bless us shall.
7   God shall us bless; and of the earth
          The ends shall fear him all.

BIBLE PASSAGE:

1 ¶ God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
