I will lift mine eyes to the hills,
for my help comes from the LORD, my God.
By His Word and by His power,
the LORD hath made the heaven and the earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved.
Lo, Israel's Keeper shall not slumber, nor sleep.
The LORD is Thy Shade on Thy Right Hand.
The LORD thy soul shall keep.
Never shall the sun do thee harm in the day,
nor can the moon by night
ever hurt or do thee harm:
for God Himself will watch over you.
Rest, little one, going out, He is there
and your soul shall come in, by His loving care.
For wherever you may be, God is always there.
The LORD thy soul shall keep.
