How great a blessing upon the man,
who will not walk, nor will he stand,
nor be found seated with the ones
who blaspheme God with their tongue.
This man shall find all his delight in ev'ry Word His LORD did write.
And he considers, night and day, the Law of God in The Way.
This man, the LORD, as a tree shall keep
by rivers flowing wide and deep.
His leaf shall stay a verdant green.
In time, his fruit shall be seen.
Ungodly men are not like this. The Word of God they will dismiss,
until the whirlwind comes their way and they, like chaff, fly away.
On Judgment Day, sinners will not stand
beside the law-abiding man,
nor with the saints whom God has blest
with Jesus' Own Righteousness.
The Lamb of God prospers the man delivered from the Law's demand.
But for the wicked comes the day the Law demands he must pay.
