Finances were raised for a ship to supply missionaries on the South Sea islands; most of this money came from tens of thousands of boys and girls who were entitled to become shareholders in the ship by raising 6 pence!

Exactly 100 years ago - on January 28, 1907 - the famous Scottish missionary to the New Hebrides, John Gibson Paton, died. His story is incredible! I have told it in Audio format (John G. Paton - King of the Cannibals!) and I am now loading pictures into this photo album that are actually slides from the powerpoint presentation that accompanied this audio.
