Having heard the call of God to serve Him overseas, John Paton went to Glasgow to complete his theological and medical studies. He left home with all his possessions tied up in a large handkerchief, but did not feel poor as he had with him his Bible and his Lord!

Exactly 100 years ago - on January 28, 1907 - the famous Scottish missionary to the New Hebrides, John Gibson Paton, died. His story is incredible! I have told it in Audio format (John G. Paton - King of the Cannibals!) and I am now loading pictures into this photo album that are actually slides from the powerpoint presentation that accompanied this audio.
