December 2009 | Following my retirement in November 2008, my wife and I have spent some time helping out in the Free Presbyterian Church in Tavistock. Tavistock is located in the south west of England on the Cornwall/Devon pennisula. It is within easy reach of both the south and west coasts. It lies some 15 miles north of Plymouth, an ancient and historic naval centre. Tavistock is the birthplace of the famous Elizabethan sailor and adventurer, Sir Francis Drake. These photographs will, I hope, show something of the beauty of the area. Ivan Foster. December 2009.
