A study of the establishment, expansion, internal development, and societal impact of the Protestant church on the North American continent from the colonial period until today, with particular focus on the major leaders and controversies in the development of Reformed and Presbyterian theology in the United States. The professor is Dr. William VanDoodewaard, Ph.D. candidate at the University of Aberdeen. Prof. VanDoodewaard teaches European and religious history at Huntington University.
