The session of Park Hill Presbyterian Church (OPC) is pleased to announce a lecture by the Rev. G.I. Williamson, "Our Confessional Heritage," at our Church building on April 4, 2011, at 7 p.m. In addition to his decades of faithful service to Christ's Church as a pastor and churchman, Pastor Williamson is well-known for writing and editing popular commentaries on the Presbyterian and Reformed confessions which have been widely used in the Churches. He plans to use this occasion to reflect on his experience in the Reformed Churches of New Zealand and with that federation's "experiment" in taking the Westminster Confession along with the Three Forms of Unity as their confessional standards in order to suggest a way forward for a more catholic reformed presence in North America which unites the strengths of the reformed and presbyterian traditions.
