Plan on coming to the 2016 DBS Meeting
In person or via the internet
Bridges unite two divided lands. They make two separated places function as one. The false Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts from the early 2nd and 3rd centuries “bridged the gap” between paganism and Biblical Christianity, starting the Roman system. In the same way, today’s modern Bibles based upon these corrupt texts (along with re-translations of the King James Bible) are building a bridge into the one-world-antichrist, Babylonian religion. Yet, many people do not understand the importance of having correct, original language texts of the Bible undergirding their translations to carry them on a bridge to the proper theological destination.
We trust you will make it a point to join us July 27th and 28th, 2016, when we ponder the pure Words of God – the original language manuscripts. Additionally, we will consider the crowing jewel of English versions, the King James Bible – the fruit of years of suffering for a sound, reliable translation of the Scriptures.
Pastor Christian Spencer has invited the DBS to hold its 2016 conference at the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood. The Christians there stand with us on the King James Bible and its underlying Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS. In fact, this very church is a literal twentieth-century textbook example of a body of believers who correctly crossed the textual divide amidst great conflict.
The BPC agrees with DBS's Articles of Faith.

Fellowship With Us In Collingswood
Please pray about attending this year’s DBS meeting with other like- minded twenty-first century Christians on July 27-28. Bibliology is under attack and the Scriptures are constantly being undermined — but one must stand firm amidst the conflict!
Pastor Christian Spencer has invited the Dean Burgon Society to hold its 2016 conference at the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood. The Christians there stand with us on the traditional Bible texts of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS. In fact this very church is a literal, twentieth century textbook example of a body of believers who stood firm amidst the conflict.
The Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood is a fundamental, Bible-believing Church in complete agreement with the Society’s Articles of Faith.
At your leisure, please review the DBS’s Articles of Faith located on its web page www.DeanBurgonSociety.org We look forward to seeing you in Collingswood in July. Hope you can join us.
The Dean Burgon Society is a single issue society devoted to the defense of traditional Bible texts. Mark your calendars for this year’s annual meeting July 27-28, 2016.
THE BIBLE STANDS -- by Haldor Lillenas
The Bible stands like a rock undaunted
’Mid the raging storms of time;
Its pages burn with the truth eternal,
And they glow with a light sublime.
Refrain
The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,
It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;
I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,
For the Bible stands.
The Bible stands like a mountain towering
Far above the works of men;
Its truth by none ever was refuted,
And destroy it they never can.
Refrain
The Bible stands and it will forever,
When the world has passed away;
By inspiration it has been given,
All its precepts I will obey.
Refrain
The Bible stands every test we give it,
For its author is divine;
By grace alone I expect to live it,
And to prove and to make it mine.
Refrain
Collingswood Is A Small Borough About Seven Miles Southeast Of The Liberty Bell.
Collingswood is about seven miles southeast of the Liberty Bell. It is a small borough on the eastside of the once beautiful city of Camden (the city of my daughter’s university, the city of my birth, the site of my brother’s grave, and the grave of Carl McIntire, too). If you are able to borrow some spare time look up Collingswood in your favorite history of fundamentalism book. Note the big clue above(CM).
Pastor Christian Spencer (son of radio preacher Duane Spencer) is hosting the meeting this year. He is the pastor of the BIBLE Presbyterian Church (don’t shut that history of fundamentalism book yet). Biblical Separation in no stranger to this body of believers – they didn’t study it THEY LIVED IT! Some might even say they aided in defining it. On the front wall of the main auditorium the words “Be Ye Separate” are gilded on the wall (2 Corinthians 6:17). In the front wall of their narthex the WORDS “For the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ” are etched (Revelation 1:9). This year’s conference will be held on July 27th and 28th from 9am to 9pm each day (breaks for lunch and supper on the grounds – if you are early they’ll even have breakfast). Please pray about attending, and please let a few of you friends from your church and elsewhere also know about it.
The Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood is in complete agreement with the Dean Burgon Society's Articles of faith (http://deanburgonsociety.org/DBS_Society/articles.htm)! Can this be said of other Baptist churches with whom you are familiar? Do all those non-denominational Bible churches fully embrace those Articles, or how about some of those trendy community churches? How about some of today’s Bible Colleges? Please don’t confuse the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood (I know you won’t) with the Collingswood Presbyterian Church (the one with the female “pastor”) -- the history of fundamentalism book reminds us that relationship was severed in 1938. The BPC HAS THE BIBLE and sadly the CPC does not. The Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood is NOT connected with the PCUSA, PCA, or OPC.
There are fifteen men who will be delivering timely messages that you will find profitable. I realize you might not be able to come to the entire conference but you should still consider coming to some of the conference. Yes it is still true, “The Bible stands every test we give it.”
The information you glean at the 38th annual Dean Burgon Society Conference this week will surely encourage and equip you amidst the conflict you often find yourself in during these dark days. “The Bible stands though the hills may tumble, It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble; I will plant my feet on its firm foundation, For the Bible stands.”
If you are unable to physically come to the conference, Lord willing, it will be recorded on DVD and streamed live over SermonAudio.com. Please consult www.DeanBurgonSoceity.org for additional information.
