The church is the centerpiece of God’s purposes, God's kingdom, and God’s glory for time and eternity. We are to lay down our lives for our brethren, which means the church, because that is where His greatest work is done and where His greatest glory is manifested.
Expositors Jono Sims, David Miller, Don Singleton, & Noel Hendrix will preach for us. These men are doctrinally sound, glory of God focused, & local church centered. They are men who preach with passion. No dry sermons here!
Dr. Tom Nettles of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will be here to teach us from a historical perspective on a healthy understanding of body life in the church. He is going to take us back to the ministry of Charles Haddon Spurgeon and show us how this great mega-church pastor in the 19th century involved his members in ministry —a very interesting session on a part of Spurgeon's ministry that is almost unknown today. Dr. Nettles will also teach about a healthy understanding of the church ordinances.
We will have a strong emphasis on biblical methodology from our own staff at Grace Life Church — men who have many years of experience reforming the local church to biblically healthy doctrine and function. It is one thing to have biblical theology of the church; it is another thing to actually “do it” in the local church. These men will preach about a healthy understanding of church membership, small groups, world missions, as well as other practical areas of local church life & ministry.

While the conference topics are aimed at pastors and church leaders, the material is certainly edifying to all believers.
