Christ Himself is the head of the church. The Romanists think they can abrogate and abridge Gods's Holy Law. They've tried already (w 2 and combining 9 and 10) but no one can. The Ten Commandments are still binding and no government, no pope, no one can alter them period end of story. They endure forever.
Don't take my word, search the scriptures. The Bearean did it and were commended.
We need to be like them because Satan is crafty. Thankfully, the Lord Jesus Christ has won, is winning, and will win in the end! To Him be all glory, honor, and praise!
Why do the liberals always defend and promote the Islamist agenda and then downplay Muslim atrocities against Christians and/or point the finger at God's people when they are merely trying to uphold Christ's commandments?
In sum, because they (means Iibs and Islamists) play for the same team. Spiritually, it makes sense. Rationally, it makes zero sense. Then again, sin against the thrice Holy Lord God of ISRAEL (the ONE TRUE GOD) makes no sense, does it?
"Why do the heathen rage..." See Psalm 2. He who sits in the heavens laughs it says. Nothing they do surprises him or threatens him and we know it is merely only a matter of time when God's enemies will be fully and finally defeated. Christ has won, is winning, and will win the victory...to God alone be all the glory!
Thank you, brother John. Soli Deo Gloria! Our great God is an awesome God who saves to the uttermost! And thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ for the glorious gospel of HIS staggering grace.
HIS Word is firm, sure, and abideth forever (unlike Rome which is full of lies, wickedness, and soul-destroying heresies). In Matthew 7:16, the Lord Jesus said, "Ye shall know them by their fruits."
Well, let's look at the fruits of the Roman Catholic Church shall we...how many poor innocent children have been victimized, how many souls have been brought down to the depths of Abaddon, how many people down through the generations have been completely turned off to religion because of Romish hypocrisy?
That's some nasty and bitter fruit any way you slice it! Eew! Lamentably, Satan is very crafty indeed, going so far as to establish a false system of worship---one that mirrors the true church but which denies the truth and makes every effort to suppress the real gospel.
And yet Christ Himself has triumphantly bound that strong man some 2000 years ago at Calvary! "Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him (Psalm 2: 12)."
If the good Lord (that is, the true Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible) can save us and deliver us from a Satanic system that lies to people about the true and the living God (and HIS way of salvation via the imputed righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ...see Romans 4, Psalm 32 and 2 Cor 5:21), He can save anybody.
"[The pope should] Stick with his job..." No, Christ is the head of the church. All papal encyclicals should just be ignored altogether. This is just a Satanic attempt to pander to the world and ensnare more souls by making the Romish church more attractive to the mainstream media.
It does beg the question: "If the Pope is infallible (according to official Roman Catholic doctrine), why are things now acceptable under this pope, that wouldn't have been acceptable under previous popes?
The great thing is that the Word of the Lord (the Holy Bible alone) is infallible and unchanging. Cast yourself upon the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word Made Flesh, and call upon HIS great and glorious name...that, my friends, is the only way to heaven. We need Christ's righteousness, not some pope, not some encyclical.
Thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ, the true and only head of the Christian church, who does not change, who is our rock and redeemer. As Mary said in John 2:5 to the servants at the wedding, "...Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it."
Note what he did NOT say---She didn't say "pray to me," she didn't say "pray to the saints," she didn't say "listen to a pope and do what he says."
"Whatsoever [Christ] saith unto you, do it." Not some pope.
