A menagerie of brilliant-hued leaves danced a jig that brisk first Tuesday morning of November as the newly-minted Southern Baptists carefully re-read their Bibles and crowded the polls en mass to vote their conscience: Decidedly for African-American slavery and against Lincoln. Then, the SBC awakened 135 years later, read their Bibles and passed a ]]resolution denouncing slavery and supporting 'racial reconciliation.'Before many Southern Baptists vote today, they will once again read their Bibles, and once again vote their conscience: Decidedly against the non-Trinitarian Romney and for tiny third party Christian candidates who would naturally lose, inadvertently unleashing unprecedented sexual- and marital-anarchy. As history is known to repeat itself, perhaps the SBC's great-grandchildren -- if religious liberty even still exists -- will pass a resolution in 2147 extolling the virtues of those great Presidents, Lincoln and Romney, who, despite the SBC, saved civilization. |
