John UK wrote: Besides, go to any missionary society, and they will tell you not to openly preach the gospel in certain places, but subtly
John When I worked in the middle east I spent a couple of years at a place called Brega in Libya. (oil Industry) I had only been a Christian for about three years so was pretty unworthy ignorant and weak in sharing work. Whilst there I met a young Libyan lad whose name I will withhold for obvious reasons. The young man had his own copy of the Bible and we started to meet back in my flat to talk about Christ. I believe God was the one doing all the real work by His grace. But these simple meetings went on for several months. This kind of work demonstrates to us that "faith" is an extraordinary power within - NOT of our own making. Is the young man a Christian today? I'm afraid I left that contract before I could discern that about him. But I know that he had many questions and was definitely seeeking. My hope and prayers have always been that God answered his questions and his prayers. There was also a group of other Christians there for example from S.Korea and other places. So God has not given up on the muslim countries. ALL glory to His Name in Christ.
John UK wrote: Moslems are killing machines, always have been, always will be. Conversion is their only hope, but missionaries sent to tell them about Christ are murdered wholesale. They make laws in their "own" countries outlawing the gospel. Do not be deceived by propaganda. Bow down to them out of fear for your life at their hands, and they have won the battle for world domination. Islam will not rest until Sharia law is settled in every nation on earth
John Fear God not man. Yes mission work is difficult but God's work.
Just in case you expected life in Christ to be easy... Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours"
Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge"
John UK wrote: All over the UK, Moslems blaspheme the lovely name of Jesus Christ, using his name as an oath. And it doesn't incite me to murder any Moslem. They are without excuse!
Not good enough John. Terry Jones calls himself a Christian. He is not one. He has caused the death of four people (this time) regardless of whether the weapon was in his hand or those he incited to kill. Muslims like all reprobates have less control than Christians because they are in complete sin and iniquity.
Your comparison is insufficient. I do not expect you to sin BECAUSE you are a Christian and have grace plus the Holy Spirit within you to shield you from sin's dominion. Surely by now you can discern the great difference made between your presaved state under sin - to now.
Terry Jones AND the muslims who perpetrated this horrendous act do not share that privilege. SO people should THINK and act justly over this.
"They are incensed by a film made in America and promoted on Youtube ..... It was apparently made by an Israeli-American businessman and backed by Terry Jones, the fundamentalist pastor who previously threatened to hold public burnings of the Koran." (telegraph.co.uk)
Terry Jones again isn't it time someone taught him some good sense. Or is it time to take him to court and charge him with causing incitement.
