many respond to the gospel of Christ as a human being primarily, in need of salvation. now I believe the prosperity gospel is malnutritioned because it assumes that all you gotta do is say a prayer and you are "in". however the full gospel and with some discipling comes the understanding that following Christ comes with a cost. idols have to be shed. for one it may be a filthy lifestyle, for another allegiance to a non-Spirit filled denomination, for another the dangers of coming out of Islam. In that way, the score is levelled, and they become a part of the greater fellowship of believers who have "taken up their cross". The Lord can transform the heart!
Elmer Yoder, you haven't established anything on this topic.
GS, greetings to you and yours. I think you've made a good point here.
I've been scratching my head through this thread. Israel had a death penalty during the OT era when they were a nation under Mosaic law. I'm not arguing pro/con for today even, but can we be accurate with the scriptures?
SteveR, I agree with your comments, you know I do.
here comes the "but" I would say you can't have it both ways,
you call them Anabaptists all the time, which seems to be translated a renegade that won't comply with the grand religious system,
then you've got guys that build and promote the one world system, aided by the unknowing dispens.
I have long thought that your quandary around here is not philosophical by nature, but rather of loyalty. You are free to declare whatever institution you think everyone needs to emulate in order to be right with God.
because anyone can see that the comm movement doesn't care which religion you are, but simply that you bow to theirs.
he was supported by CFR members who were involved in creating plans for wores in ME. information is fed through them. he gets the "inner" scoop so to speak and becomes their mouthpiece.(Sarah Palin was another) in comes patriot act, wores that advance global corporations, investments, oil, a religious agenda, banking hegemony (woe to countries that were developing national currencies and banking) and the petrodollar, and wahhabism....
so he says we are keeping you "safe" from islam while serving chaos. last election was so clear, both sides running in support of end of rhgt to fair trial and troops arresting people on our soil with legis in NDAA.
a kind naïve spirit works well in the confines of sequestered Christianity, but once Christians hit the big leagues they need to know what kind of snakes they are serving. and unless they've gotten there before they hit the big leagues, its too late, the glass ceiling effect.
the neocons are the LAST to be spiritually leading us through these times. and throwing a bible at someone instead of seeing them as a lost human being, yes, there's that too. if one is to use the WOrd of God, it is not to get power, but to declare the truth in love and resolution.
I don't know his theological bent, but I would "bet" on dispens.

Sister Dolores, I doubt it. I'll listen to your opinion even if it differs from mine, as long as I don't see something wrong in it. God's truths are absolute, and sometimes God leads different people in different ways. But I also agree that we need to take the log out of our own eyes first. Have a great day.
what good is it for you to slam a religion everyday, if they worship Babylon and you do as well from another way of life? . if you aren't willing to look at these issues when it costs you nothing, can you be ready when it does?
Metaxas is certainly in a position to compare these events historically and see the parallels. It is good to see an interview like this broadcasted. May God's people be ready to give an account for the hope that is in them.
Troll Spotter, it is not my intention to persuade you to lie or to hide your light under a bushel. or to be politically correct. with your moniker, it is hard to even place you personally with who you may be. please understand I am not trying to be a discouragement to you. I'll just leave it at that and let you respond. the Lord bless you and grant you peace.
Dolores wrote: for clearing that up for me and others.
Dear sister, I pray that you will be able to take the information and hold me and others to account, as your life in Christ and wisdom in the Lord can be applied once the information is given, and what I mean by this is that we spur each other to faithfulness in Christ in the confusion and misinformation. Please check out what I post and confirm things by talking with people in the fields of work. Many in our churches are not in the middle stream of information anymore, maybe they were at one time in their lives? and I think dialogue is important.

I agree with this, and I hope that my post was not a discouragement to you. You have brought out some things that might have been hidden. And you and I are both pursuers of the truth -- as the Lord provides.
"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy." James 3:17
Elmer K. Yoder wrote: Follower of the true Christ - yes. According to how Christian is defined - antichristian, yes. Why do you ask?
if you are going to make sense, would you please define your terms?
many Christians created agrarian societies and were not part of the mass railroad/manifest destiny push. and many of the American Indians were Christians. so your comment doesn't make sense to me. now if you said statist minded so called Christians would make more sense at least in my mind. there's always a remnant who sees through the political lies.
to the unnamed moniker here that called me a conspiracy theorist on the Canada article as they teach children how to behead others..... again its right here.
Saudi has done massive funding into the schools. the Wahhabis. our allies.
here's a lovely picture of children on a field trip at a mosque bowing to mecca...
well, I can't get the link up at the moment, but it shows American kids on the carpet of the mosque bowing to the ground, got the girls in there too, that would not be allowed of course, but when propaganda is at hand, who cares?
Dolores, well you seem to have become the resident peace maker. the neocon movement are those that have used the Christians to expand their empire building through calling for constant advancement of the military industrial complex and constant wores that work against our own interest and the interest of others. this was the movement that eroded our way of life enough to make the present comm rev possible.
after fast and furious and the movement of arms, how many tens of thousands died in that area of mexico with the drug cartel wores? and he doesn't understand Islm? Fr Grah needs to turn off neocon news and get reality!
