I have tried to get on to SermonAudio through the roku several times today and it just keeps going back to the main menu. I see someone else has had that problem. Could you please check in to it. Luckily I will be able to watch the live service on my computer. But I do prefer to watch it on the tv through the roku. Thank you. I see below there was an update. Could this be the problem?

What do the Illuminati elite really want? Is it money? Is it power? Is it control? The answer to the aforementioned questions is YES! But they want much more...THEY WANT YOU DEAD!
Oh now come on Abigail?
According to your decision based, works religion, ALL are equal to pro-choice on salvation. Surely the "illuminati" are intelligent enough to make the same decision for Christ that you made?

Or are some people predestined not to be able to arrive at the same conclusion as you?

Sacrament? Sounds like something from the Catholic church
My dear "weapon" - (such a nasty alias couldn't you think of something nicer???)

Here is a little explanation for you, my dear.

"Sacraments are holy signs and seals of the covenant of grace, immediately instituted by God, to represent Christ and his benefits, and to confirm our interest in him: as also to put a visible difference between those that belong unto the Church and the rest of the world; and solemnly to engage them to the service of God in Christ, according to his Word"

Also

"There be only two sacraments ordained by Christ our Lord in the Gospel, that is to say, Baptism and the Supper of the Lord: neither of which may be dispensed by any but by a minister of the Word lawfully ordained."

There you are thats plain and simple for you, isn't it. Now this and other Biblical teaching is available in the Westminster Confession. (Ch.27)

Good hunting.

JD wrote:
justification comes from God upon ones believing his word no matter when they lived and believed as long as they believed what God said.
Ah now JD you seem to have the wrong end of the stick on justification.
Here is the teaching on it for you.

"Those whom God effectually calleth he also freely justifieth;(Rom 3:24, 8:30) not by infusing righteousness into them, but by pardoning their sins, and by accounting and accepting their persons as righteous: not for anything wrought in them, or done by them, but for Christ's sake alone; nor by imputing faith itself, the act of believing, or any other evangelical obedience to them, as their righteousness; but by imputing the obedience and satisfaction of Christ unto them, they receiving and resting on him and his righteousness by faith; which faith they have not of themselves, it is the gift of God."(Rom 3:22-28)

You can read this in the Westminster Confession (Ch.11) complete with the relevant Bible verses. This will help you grasp the issue better.

"Justification is a judicial act of God, in which He declares, on the basis of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, that all the claims of the law are satisfied with respect to the sinner"(L Berkhof)

He came upon believers, unbelievers, as well as a certain donkey in the OT but that did not mean they were saved. It meant they were empowered, which is a far different concept than regeneration.
JD I don't think you should be so mean to that lovely little donkey. Shame on you.

You seem to be implying that nobody got saved until 2000 years ago? That seems a bit lax of the Lord, when there was all those wonderful people like Sarah, Rebekah and a few of the guys like Moses etc etc.
Don't they get saved in your book?

Or do you teach a retroactive salvation, which in terms of time had to await the Holy Spirit's second career in NT times?

If so Why?
Time is a worldly element, God doesn't need to wait does He?

JD wrote:
The calvs mistakenly say that faith is the gift of God (Their system depends on this point) and that men cannot believe unless they are quickened (regenerated; born again) by the Spirit first. This position of course would leave out those who are justified before the Holy Spirit was poured out on mankind for the ministry of regeneration beginning with the Jews in AD 30 in Acts 2 and then the gentiles in circa AD 40 in Acts 10.
No! No! JD;
The Holy Spirit wasn't on holiday prior to the NT times.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Gen 41:38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Ex 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Prov 1:22,23 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

How many "spirits" do you think the Lord has???
