“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you, Aliyah for recommending this sermon. I always enjoy this preacher who has the heart of God, and demonstrates His mercy. It is good to be reminded of what happens to man when he listens to man and not God; especially in times like these.

Great words proclaimed on the Senate floor which is a great idea. However it will have fallen on a majority of deaf ears belonging to people who will prefer Sodom Gomorrah and hell rather than the Bible and heaven. Even though they don't even understand what its all about.
This kind of assumption seems to be a prevailing thought among Christians. We don't know what God will do. He is looking for a man whose heart is fully devoted to Him; one who believes the promises he gave for those who know their God. He wants to do great exploits. He is able to open the eyes of their understanding. This is what we should pray for in expectation.

we cannot continue discouraging believers by conveying untruths and doubt about a God who says He will answer our prayers. We are to pray for all who are in authority. Why?

Then we are to lead quiet lives; not meddling in everyone business. We must remain focused on this one who works all things after the counsel of His own will. Not ours.

Pray for this senator that he becomes even stronger in his fight against Goliath.

This message is brought with such clarity; unlike others I've heard. You'll probably agree after listening. It is truly great teaching.

Psalm 2:1-4
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision."

But for Your people, Lord, deliver us from our enemies, defend us from them that rise up against Thee. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through You we shall do valantly: for You shall tread down our enemies. We will sing of Thy power; and Thy mercy: for You have been our defense and refuge in the days of trouble.
Psalm 57:5-7 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
In Thee do we put our trust: let us never be put to confusion 71:1
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. Why should the heathen say, 'Where is thy God?'

Jim Lincoln,
"Christians are all saved in Christ, but differences in race backgrounds are pointed out,. . . " and are divisive. When one sees himself as inheriting his origin from a source apart from Adam in the first creation, and Noah in the subsequent renewed creation
(And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; (Acts 17:26), we have wars, diseases, famines, etc. and evil empires vying to rule men with like beliefs.

There is one nation God values. It is a holy nation. The nation that knows the intent of God in make one new man in Christ. this "Holyn nation" reconciles others to the truth of God's word. This nation understands the importance of going against the culture for His name's sake. What God hath joined together, let no man separate. There is only one race (nation) gathered in the only name that matters.
The mention of 'races' is only to show that reconciliation is sought for all men of all races (nations), from all corners of the globe, Jim Lincoln.

Allie,
I truly believe that we say things that become actualities; such as
"They will likely have a hard time getting other employment and maintaing anonymity now."

We carelessly give "strength" to our enemies by preparing people to expect certain reactions/responses. For example: When we are told that gas prices will soar, we expect this. Rather than shocking us, we become less reactive. It becomes palatable because we waited for it to become reality.

Now if we strengthened the believer and gave glory and strength and power to the Lord, and silently lived in expectation of him to deliver and provide, the Lord would give us what we hope for. Our expectations of of Him. All of the promises in Christ are yes and amen. He is our provision, our provider and will never leave us nor forsake us.

We really need to come into a greater trust that His will is being accomplished. Too often we become sidetracked; forgetting that we are to look for what God will do in these situations

Pray that they will be strengthened in the inward man and that God will be glorified in the choices they made.

Good Morning, B. McCausland.

Thanks so much for your fruitful reminder of our faith walk. It is indeed not by sight.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God.

We have to be careful of not presenting ourselves as not being like other men, or having attained.

Daniel called upon his God, and ours, to show Himself strong in battle. We must do the same; wielding the word with expectations.

A "Christian flag?" Who authorized such? Isn't this much like medals worn as jewelry by the wicked and the righteous (self)? The world does not recognize who we are just as it did not recognize our savior; in the days of his flesh. The world is blinded by the temporal.

Thanks again for bring us to our knees. This posture allows us to see what God is doing even now in the midst of a perverse generation. The generation of which we were once a part. But He regenerated us and washed us and gave us an eternal and grateful perpective.

Is there such a thing as morality anymore?Sodomy for centuries was declared to be against the laws of nature and nature's God. We are to love our fellow man and if we love our fellow man what are we do but tell them when there is sin, because sin is something you are supposed to hate. When they create it as a national right, a fundamental right, what are we do?"
The CDC and others have documented that those engaging in the types of sexual activities practiced predominantly by the LGBT community lead to psychiatric disorders as well as an extremely high likelihood of contracting dangerous and deadly STDs such as HIV/AIDS, anal cancer, parasitic infections and hepatitis.

B. McCausland wrote:
Yes, they might in some details, yet the philosophy behind ladies' pans remains unisex.
This philosophy does not proceed from Scripture but from the world.
It is unbiblical per definition, as does not rest on the differenciation of roles for the genders according to God's original design.
God looks into the heart, yet what is in the heart comes out by what we do or say. Out of the heart the mouth speaks, and by the fruit the tree is known.
It is remarkable that "a man dressed in a Hillary Clinton pants suit would be a cross dresser" and a woman dressed with the garment largely associated in Western context with males should not cross dress.
B. Mc Causland, grace and peace to you who always motivates me to search the scripture.

Are you saying that it is unbiblical for women to wear pants? Please provide clarification.

Some just act on it while those who don't cheer their accomplishments. Now, I realize there are moderates who don't advocate or support the violence, but they're in conflict with the book they hold so dear. Anyway, it's beyond me why they are being allowed to take over neighborhoods, change street signs, and even bypass local justice with their own courts. What's also incredible to me is the number of sympathizers who are growing in number as they choose sides.
