Water still came out of the rock when Moses disobeyed by striking it, but Moses did have to face up to the consequences of his actions. Whatever good has come from Camping's mispredictions, regardless of what good he claims, are in spite of what he did, not because of it. Doubtless, Camping himself is experiencing, and may yet experience, consequences from God for what he has done. He can be forgiven, but, as David with Bathsheba, must live with what he has done. |

Lim Jincoln wrote: Thank you Jim for saving us from the KJV. I think of all those poor people who went to Hell because they got saved by reading or hearing the KJV. But they really didn't get saved, because the only way to get saved is through the NASB. Jim is out true savior, and the NASB is his prophet. Praise Jim, Praise Jim, tell of NASB greatness.... |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Encouraged, I haven't mentioned the American Bible Society, yet, and yes another Bible Society that thank God, doesn't emphasize [A]nglican [V]ersion. They do support a reading program -- ]]Teach children how to read and how to live. The problem with ABS is that they are too ecumenical and sale third rate bibles such as the AV and other Catholic Bibles. I will say one thing for the AV--children learn a cuss word for relieving oneself. Much bad English usage is caused by the AV, Let's get it out homes and churches and back on library shelves where it belongs. Think about it Jim. At the judgment seat of Christ the only "work" (not that we are saved by works) that you will have to present to the Lord, is that you have spent most of every day for years on the computer, trying to convince people that the King James Bible is bad. What a wasted life! You are almost as self decieved as the fellow that posts in all caps, obsessed with satanic vaticainist. Are you so obssessed with the NASB that you don't even talk to lost people about Jesus? Or do you even talk to people? Or do you just stay on line with your failing quest? |

John UK wrote: Sure, like modernists, liberals, bruce metzger, westcott and hort, nestle, and a whole load of other unreliable, weird gentlemen. You can't beleive a word Jim says. He is using the English language. That's what the Anglicans speak. Jim is probably a decendant of English people, where the Anglicans came from. Matter of fact England was once rendered "Angland". Sorry I couldn't find the link for "Engish speaking people say no to Jim. |

JTP wrote: Oh no! I was hoping this thread would escape his notice. Now we are going to have 500 posts on the other bible. If you are talking about Jim; it's too late. Now we have to see the same old post about the nasb. But at least maybee with this thread in existence he will stop trying to turn every other article into a version debate. |
