Great Sermon! I appreciate the teaching. I have questions though
1. If the church leadership allocates a service to be led by women is it still not allowed for a woman to teach in this circumstance?
2. In submitting women often find themselves in churches chosen by husbands. Often if the husband is in leadership the wife is assumed (in these churches) to also have some role that husband has including preaching in church occasionally. What is the wife to do, take the role & teach too? Not as a teacher but to occasionally teach/preach when asked?
This was the most powerful sermon for me! I have never heard anything like this. I'm a believer but I am sitting here overwhelmed at all I just listened to. This sermon is life changing and pricks our conscience's.
So a real man can just walk away from his kids and not care.ahh its tradition you say maybe so. The bars are filled with guys like that. Real fathers love their children. But you wouldnt understand that money matters more eh you r a fool
More troubled than who? Regular folk? Chritian folk?all other kids combined? Hetero kids? Unchurched heteros or christian kids.? God chose their parants for the kids did he not?
Great Sermon! I have listened to this sermon three times--always in the early hours before dawn when I have been unable to sleep. It has brought me much comfort. Thank you, Rev. Murray, for sharing your profound insight into Matthew 14:25.
I don't know... Oh my! They obviously have some fashion "issues" going on at this church. I appreciate this pastor's admonitions; however, I feel that it would have been more appropriate to have an older, respected woman speak to the women of the church about this problem.
I'm still not totally sure on tactics like this to bring people to church. But surely when someone buys a shot it is better to have this on the glass than not to. Where is the harm in it?
