My Own 2 cents wrote: I was on SA a few yrs ago for a brief time, and I remember following the thread when Nancy Reagan died; HOLY COW, I learned really quick that you DO NOT blaspheme the "republican" presidents!!!! everything isn't about politics. She had some good accomplishments. Hopefully she was saved but if not it should just cause us further grief. A man lost his wife of 73 years, a family lost a mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. Conner had an appropriate response. |

John UK wrote: What happened to this year's ChristMass debate? Maybe its because pharisaical bullies would be offended and hurl a torrent of abuse at anyone who would dare to celebrate the day as a remembrance of the incarnation? |

John Yurich USA wrote: I believe my future wife will go along with the plans of giving birth at home. She will not have a say in the matter. The marriage vows state honor and obey. That's why you're a fifty something year old and still not married. |

Neil wrote: That is an evasion: I was asking *how* a person can learn about God absent visual natural evidence. Telling me Mrs. Crosby was blind & converted explains nothing. Just maybe creation is not a witness to the blind just as the gospel preacher is not a witness to the deaf. Doesn't mean that there isn't a witness just because some are incapable of receiving that witness! |

SteveR wrote: For their Blessing or their Cursing, they are there. (imo) Your speculation could be Biblical if not for the number of Saints there & their Biblical testimony despite error. 1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: I think for their cursing. You clearly haven't a clue of the meaning of 1 John 4.2, if you use the minimum face value meaning to include Roman Catholics as possessing the Spirit of God. Your understanding is so darkened, one hardly knows where to start with you. Very many have attempted to show you that Justification by faith is the heart of the gospel and so a crucial doctrine one must understand and embrace to be a true Christian. Since the RCC does not believe this their false gospel can never lead anyone to salvation. If you believe different you have to show that the RCC has changed. Since you can produce no such evidence, you can conjecture all you like about some being saved, but don't expect any of us to be following you soon in this or at least until hell freezes over. |

SteveR wrote: Its 2013 in the reign of my Lord, and all things happen because he allows it. 1.16 billion are in the RCC for a very good reason We read of angels reserved for hell. So maybe this is Gods way of reserving those who are wilfully disobedient for hell! |

LynMaybe you have seen Spurgeon.org. Phil has a wonderful website and a lot of humour e.g. see the bad theology links http://www.spurgeon.org/~phil/bookmark.htm Maybe there should be an 'off topic' comment section here. If a particular post in a section is off topic then it can be removed there. Also folk can post more personal info and yes even humour (as long as it is not offensive)then leaving actual headed sections on doctrine etc for exactly that. Just a thought? |
