The biggest problem that we have right now in the "evangelical church" is the Zionistic Dispensational movement has infested all realms of public discourse in the churches and seminaries. People need to wake up and not drink the coolaid that these Zionist like John McA at TMS or other's are pushing (Hegee) Christianity is neither Jew nor Gentile. We are all one in Christ. There is no seperate salvation for the Jews. Christians need to go back to Galatians and understand what Paul is saying. Our focus needs to be the kingdom of God, not the Isreal. God will deal with Isreal and her unbelief. John needs to repent for his sins for leading the Christian church to support the war against Iraq. Let Isreal fight her own wars. There is no need to spill American blood for Isreal. Dispensationalism has led the American church down this road and neutered the minds of American christians. It is time for Dallas Theological Seminary to repent before God for spreading Dispensational heresies throughout the world.
Ya got to be careful with the systematic theologians over the past 400 years. If it (your subject) is not in scripture, you can't jump to what you think are logical conclusions through some sort of mental gymnastics. We must be people of biblical studies. When scripture is silent on a topic then we must be mature enough to be silent and honor God's word.
If the Spirit of God who is living and active is not living and active in your life, then you are not a child of God. If Christians don't want a relationship with the true and living God in their lives, then they need to find a dead religion with a false God to worship. Maybe JM would be happy to have the tree in my backyard for a God. I promise JM that this tree will not talk to him, will not indwell him, will not display it's power in his life. It might provide JM a little shade, but JM may not be able handle that; it maybe too spiritually moving.
