I wonder who they think will buy their oil if the USA can't? If we go down, they - Arabs, China, etc. loose their biggest customer, I think.

Please understand that the USA borrows (yes, BORROWS) the money from the Chinese, the Arabs, and anybody else on the planet, to buy the things that you feel so blessed to get.
Who will buy the stuff when everybody else stops lending money to the USA? I think that the answer will become painfully obvious in the next 5 to 10 years.

Stay close to God. People will only see what they want to see.

What I believe is not the issue; the issue is what does the Lord require – look at Micah 6:8. Some say, ‘our faith makes us different – salvation is in believing in what Jesus did.’ Do you actually read your bibles? The WHOLE thing; and not the few favorite verses? Consider this quote from James chapter 2 verse 20: ‘But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?’ The goal of this short time we spend on earth comes in 3 parts: 1) to fear God ONLY, 2) see that God is our ONLY source, and 3) to LOVE. I could give you enough supporting scripture to fill pages. We could spend the rest of our short lives discussing the finer points of ‘getting saved’ and end up with Jesus saying, ‘I never knew you.’ Who does God know? Read Psalm 91. Too many people who call themselves Christians spend too much time pursuing the same goals as everybody else while judging everybody else. THINK PEOPLE! The non-Christians are DOING what they believe; are you DOING what you believe? Their actions are in line with their beliefs; are yours?

If all of you people who call themselves Christian and agonize about all of the evils being planned or about to be done by the government or the President or some other authority; if all of you would take a deep look at your lives and what you demonstrate to be most important to you; if you have the honesty (remember what that word means) to really examine yourselves, you would admit that you offer no alternative to the government and the people in charge of making the laws because you live EXACTLY like all of the other groups that you disparage and avoid and look down on. Your families are in shambles, your idea of community is church once a week (11:00 AM on Sunday - the most segregated hour in America), you spend equal time watching the 'boob' (read that ANYWAY you want) tube, and on the internet watching even more; now in what way are you different from any other group that you look down on? Is it the you consider your choice of sins to be a better choice? My sins are better than your sins so that makes you bad and me good? For God's sake, WAKE UP!
