Great Sermon! I don't know if you will see this, but I wanted to tell you how much God has spoken through you to me. Your a very great preacher and I can relate with you enormously. That's all I really wanted to say. God has really used you in a great way. Thank you for preaching.Hope we get a chance to meet someday.
Great Sermon! Well said! I too disagree with sitting down during the national anthem, however, acknowledge his right to do so. You guys bring up great points, especially our need to remain gospel centered in our approach to this and other issues. Thank you!
Was with you at first.... I agree that the BLM movement has serious issues at its core. I myself didn't realize how serious until I reviewed their website firsthand. There IS black on black crime at an alarming rate that needs to be adressed as well. These things must not be ignored. But when I turn to Christian pod casts and hear careless remarks like "just get your taillights fixed" my heart feels sad. You say you should view these events from a biblical perspective yet "just get your taillights fixed" or "look at how your dressed" seems to fall short ( especially when lives were lost). I don't know all the facts of these cases but I'm pretty certain no one does at this point. Let us stay Christ centered and pray that God continues to break down the many barriers that exists within our own hearts regarding race. Yes, even within the church we hold to biases and judgements that are not always righteous. And one further note- I do believe you guys have good intentions and are not racist by any means. But maybe it would be helpful to have a more well rounded discussion when it comes to these types of issues. Otherwise it just comes off as white people gathering around the mic to talk about what black people should or should not be doing.
God bless
In 1982 I heard a ? give instruction at my brother's CMA Church. I say ? because the denomination had real issues with this man's doctrine, yet they invited him to preach and the church split shortly there after. He spoke from the text in Matthew 11:16-24. Although he pointed out many defections of the age worthy of consideration, he loudly warned of the audio visual attack on our households from the TV and Associates Industry. Some of us thought No? but only for a year or two at best and then out they went. But some how, some way, something always slipped back in. If men's hearts were not what they are and the church more godly and gov't more righteous it would be much safer for current events only.
Great Defence of Biblical Grace! Thank you Rev. Hanko for a masterful defence of such an essential truth. There is nothing common about grace.

Best book on the topic. After reading many books on this subject I've concluded this is the best Baptist work hands down. Pink's work is a masterpiece and a must read for every Particular Baptist interested in a systematic look at the covenants.
Great Sermon! God’s Grace is presented in a crystal clear manner by J.C. Philpot. His well known and often quoted statement sums up the mans life and ministry, "My desire is to exalt the grace of God; to proclaim salvation alone through Jesus Christ; to declare the sinfulness, helplessness and hopelessness of man in a state of nature; to describe the living experience of the children of God in their trials, temptations, sorrows, consolations and blessings."
