"[There were] 287 Protestant executions during [Mary I's] reign. In comparison her father, King Henry VIII, had been responsible for 57,000 deaths including men such as Sir Thomas More." -History of the Tudors
Perhaps, more appropriately since the first stone has been cast amongst conservatives, this King should be labeled Dirty (Bloody) Harry. But calling folk names is not only childish, but slander, anti-biblical and anti-Christ. Pray for those who persecute you. Love even your enemy.
Further, both of these numbers (including those ~150,000 killed during the "Inquisition") pale in comparison to the 45 million vivisected every year even by well-meaning Christians.
