Well, seeing as the official spokesman at SermonAudio finds the subject of what God meant by being "born again" in John 3:3 so boring and obviously trivial to that person I will leave off illustrating what Mr. Ironside had to say and take it to a place I have reason to believe that it won't be found so boring and trivial.

"We are lost and ruined and undone. What we need, therefore, is a new life. We need to be born again, and that is the new life He gives us.
There is a little Greek word that has been dropped out in our English translation here. It sometimes is translated “and,” though more generally, “but.” It is the same word used in the beginning of verse 24 of chapter 2. So, if we put it in its right place at the beginning of verse 1 of chapter 3, we read, “[But] there was a man of the Pharisees.” The Spirit of God thus puts this man in contrast with the people of verses 23-25. Here is a man whom Jesus recognizes as sterlingly honest in seeking after truth. Whenever our Lord finds a man who is really in earnest, He will see that that man will get the truth. You ask, “Well, what about the heathen who have never heard? Will God condemn them to everlasting judgment for not believing in a Savior of whom they have never heard?” No, of course not. But what He will do is this: He will condemn the heathen for all the sins of which they have not repented, but He will see that every repentant soul gets light enough to be saved. He will not let a man be lost if he is seeking for the truth.
So here is Nicodemus, an honest seeker,"...More

I believe I should pay closer attention to the treasure God has put in my dwelling place. I have the freeware Bible software theWord, and while waiting for someone to say something about what I asked at 11/20/14 3:06 PM I decided to exlore my software theWord and I turned in it to Ironside's Notes on Selected Books a free module I have for theWord, particularly Ironside's commentary on John 3:1-15 from which I quote here and will quote somemore later:

"You and I like to make out a good case for ourselves. Scripture shows how little we have to boast of, if we would be honest with God. When we think of the eyes of His Son looking down into our hearts, what corruption, lusts, perversity, dishonesty He finds there! “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings” (Jer. 17:9-10). Because Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, He knew what was in man. He is as truly omniscient as the Father. He knows what is in you and me, and yet, knowing it all, He loved us and gave Himself for us. But He does not trust us or rely upon these wicked hearts of ours..." More

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.--John 3:3 KJV

Would someone(s) please explain that verse. Not knowing precisely what is meant by the "kingdom of God", in that verse I have looked at the verse as indicating that if you can't even see it then you surely can't get in it, what ever it stands for, unless you are "born again".

The verse could be the most clear cut revelation in the Bible for the necessity of a being "born again" in order to stay out of hell and the lake of fire, depending on what "kingdom of God" means in that verse.

I originally posted the following in another thread and I thank the person who commented on it. But I believe it should also be posted here. It was written by a Lutheran woman and I would dearly love to have some born again women at SermonAudio, exercise a ministry to the woman and answer her.

I don't rule out men doing it also but I believe that the woman who wrote it would be most affected by women answering her.

"In my Lutheran faith which follows the Bible says "to be born again of Water and the Spirit." And there is "only ONE baptism for the remission of sins."

So, therefore, since I was baptized as an infant I see no need to be a "born again Christian" as an adult. And if you were baptized in the Catholic Church as an infant there is no need for you to be "born again, and baptized again as an adult" IF you still believe what you were taught as a child.

I just thought I would add this info, because I do not see the need for adults to be "born again" IF they were baptized as children."

GSTexas, with a name like that you must be an American. You should have taken advantage of your American law, the Fifth Admendment which states you don't have to testify against yourself which you did when you stated about yourself:

Here we go again.
Proverbs 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

"verse launching"? it is called presenting the Word of God Ahem; you might try dignifying God's word but that seems to be a real problem for you and many at SermonAudio who ought to know better.

It is actually the Word of God that you and some others at SermonAudio can't stand and it not hard to spot who those people are for they give themselves away by their comments.

We shall see ahem, for as usual you never take God into account and He hasn't spoken on this matter yet. And He is watching very carefully to see how some people respond for they will each give an account for it at the judgement seat of Christ, the ones that get that far that is.

Michael, I notice that you say,"John UK, Christopher000, Dolores" while I say, "John UK, Christopher000, Jim Lincoln from Nebraska, Dolores"

Did you ever read this Michael when reading your Bible?:

He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.--Proverbs 18:13 KJV

What is your next nonsensical statement Michael? That I deliberately held something back so that I could trap you?

do you each judge that I am "a divisive little troll and not a brother"? Yes or No will be sufficient to answer. And if one or more of you answer No, then Ahem you are in fact a liar and should pay close attention to God's warning to you in Revelation 21:8 and you should then ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from that fate.

Firstly, the comment was aimed at you, not at Mormons. You're no friend of the Mormons.
Secondly, don't you mean all at SermonAudio now that the only person who sympathized with you has left?
Thirdly, you wouldn't recognize the Gospel if you ran into it and it bit you.
Mormon's true friend"? You sure "true friend"?

For your comment reads like a couple of others in this thread, that actually make fun of Mormons on their way to hell, especially you for this applies specifically to you:
clowns, fools, ungodly men and women

Let's see your correspondence with Mormons trying through the grace of God to reach them for Christ then we will all understand what a wonderful Christian you really are and which you undoubtedly think of yourself as.

It is one thing to read the Bible, it is quite another to understand what you read. I have a special appeal to those here who understand what they read in the Bible.

I need help to answer the following and I welcome answers from those who understand what they read in the Bible:

"In my Lutheran faith which follows the Bible says "to be born again of Water and the Spirit." And there is "only ONE baptism for the remission of sins."

So, therefore, since I was baptized as an infant I see no need to be a "born again Christian" as an adult. And if you were baptized in the Catholic Church as an infant there is no need for you to be "born again, and baptized again as an adult" IF you still believe what you were taught as a child.

I just thought I would add this info, because I do not see the need for adults to be "born again" IF they were baptized as children."

What's the advantage for a Mormon to become a Catholic, unless Dopey's thinking she might be his life partner? You met on a dating site, didn't you?
Ahem the following is for you, if you can understand any of it, which I doubt:

"Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes."--Proverbs 19:10 KJV

"Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools."-- Proverbs 19:29 KJV

"Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"--Matthew 7:1-3

The door between me and Mormon women has been opened by God and it may depend on staying open by the prayers of people at SermonAudio. Perhaps God is testing some people at SermonAudio to see if their time there is just a way to kill time or they are involved in much more serious adjendas such as praying for Mormon women who are currently on their way to hell for they truly are on that road.

Perhaps God is in the process of seperating spiritual wheat from spiritual chaff at SermonAudio for a soon to happen appearance at the judgement seat of Christ? Are you striving to hear "well done" or something else. This may be a last minute chance to hear "well done" for people who will spend some serious time praying for Mormon women and Mormon men for that matter instead of laughing at them like some comments currently do in this thread.

That ended our communication yesterday and today we are again communicating and the communication was opened by her not me. I am through communicating with her for today and expect to be communicating with her tomorrow...More
