Amen, dear brother in Nebraska! You said in a few words what I was contemplating saying in a few more. Suffice it to say that the Vatican houses billions, perhaps trillions of dollars worth of treasures. The pope's hat alone is reported to be bedecked with jewels worth millions. Yet, he has the audacity to rebuke legitimate businesses for not giving enough to the poor! Knowing however, that it is only by God's grace that we are saved, let us pray that God in His mercy would grant the pope repentance from his own work's righteousness and call upon the name of The Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."Acts 4:12
Great Sermon! I just finished listening to both sermons. I am thankful to God for calling you and equipping you to feed the church. Some of this isn't always what part of me wants to hear - like Deo Volente, and I get to say that's ok however it turns out, and I also get to say, "Lord, this is what I want, nevertheless....." - but I really needed this. Thanks and God bless.
Great Sermon! Yep...this was good. I'll be gnawing on this one for awhile. Oh, all the things I've said about how God is NOT my servant....yep. Need to watch myself there....make it real...time to repent...and there IS hope. I was losing that and now I see why.
I have an iRiver 40GB, execellent machine, can connect a small mic and record live teachings, excellent sound quality, I think it has been discontinued now.
I have the whole audio bible, dozens of sermons, all my work files backed up and still loads of memory. This is my second machine as the first one's harddrive crashed in the first few week, I had this replacement sent and so far no problems, but I am aware that it can crash which is a worry.
