Ex 20:25-26
btw: I was reading past the verse in the Dt. 22 passage below that advises battlements of protection, later on there is an implied wise conduct of being aware when you are "out in the field."
Dt. 22:25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die. 22:26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: 22:27 For
he found her in the field,
and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her."
Reading this, should make one aware of the potential danger of being alone and subject to assault.
Even ,as Henry says:
"The damsel cried - Which is in that case to be presumed; charity obliging us to believe the best, 'till the contrary be manifest."
There is not help available when in the environment of the wild world.
Kind of like being in Grizzly Country:
don't make yourself an easy victim.
