Following a google search, I found a letter from the mayor to some American convert to Islam who urged Muslims to rise up and attack in America. In the letter he says "... some Christian missionaries that I had arrested." So he was personally responsible for instructing the police to arrest them. Vote out that bum at the first opportunity.

Great Sermon! - A model pray-er. Mary reminded herself (Mary) about the temple incident with Jesus. As a model (pray-er), Mary believed God. The below passage (Luke 2:46-51) boosted Mary's belief. And it came to pass , that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions . And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed : and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold , thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing . And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

I agree with Alan and Rick...who is this God Ringo has found? Buddha, Allah, Mormon God,...?
I think many Christians are so desirous of having someone of great fame be called a Christian, they are willing to insinuate someone is a believer without having read or heard enough from the person to have real confidence. Remember, "but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strongand the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are," (1 Corinthians 1:27-28)

I do hope Ringo has been saved but please don't try to make the "small gate" wider than Christ would have it for the sake of a big name. God can make the rocks cry out if he so wants.

Ringo Starr will not make people turn to the Lord, only the Holy Spirit. Sermonaudio is too good to grasp for straws.

Which system of logic do you mean?
There are many.
You have to be careful as you can use one system to attack another.
But if your axiom is the Bible, then you cannot engage anyone with logic becuase you will not accept that other logical systems are valid.
And you do not care about credentials simply because you are incapable of obtaining any yourself.
If someone tries to take your ball away you will stamp you feet.
You are a fundamentalist.
So are the Wahabi's.
You are really no different from each other.
They are both belief systems built on hatred and intolerance.

I hope not.
Sometimes I think places like these are run by the Devil himself.
Listen to you with your 'doctrines' and 'creeds'.
Is it really any wonder so many have turned away from Jesus?
You argue among yourselves hoping your lengthy statements will be seen and heard.
I know I'm being harsh, maybe too harsh.
But arguing like this will save not a single soul.
Preach *the* Gospel! Not *your* Gospel.

Thanks Anna.
I was thinking specifically about the individuals who carry out the attacks.
Wasn't the daughter of a female vicar murdered on 7/7? And didn't the vicar resign as she couldn't forgive the killers?
I just don't think I could forgive them.
In fact, I cannot and will not forgive them (I suffer, psychologically, because of what they did).

I don't know about OSAS.
I've read the 'fors' and 'againsts'.
It seems odd to me that I can be saved then, for example, blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and not lose my salvation.
Have I misunderstood?

I'm just curious as my (perhaps wrong) understanding is that Christians should forgive their enemies.

Phil Fernandes debates an atheist Dan Barker (a former professed Christian) and tears his arguments apart in a large number of areas (the origin of moral values, arguments about the 2nd law of thermodynamics, the equality of women, Hitler being a Christian, etc). The debate is very long (around 2 hours total), but there is a lot of useful information here. Throughout the debate, Fernandes comes out with many significant, memorable quotes: Atheist: 'the bible puts down women. It was written by sexist men. you should be ashamed to hold that under your arm' Fernandes: 'the bible says that women were created in the image of God. atheism says they evolved from some primortial soup... she's just some molecules in motion; so I think that Christianity has a higher view of women than atheism does' Fernandes: "either in the beginning God... or in the beginning NOTHING" When asked why they were there (what the point of the debate was) Fernandes said it was like he found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that he wanted to share with his brothers... and he said he didn't know why the atheist was there.
