“ Great Sermon! ” This is a really misunderstood thing. I read the summary and am excited to listen to the sermon, although I wish there was a PDF of it.
Dear CAB, I don't normally post on these threads but this time I think I will. Your list reminds me of myself. I have been brought to desperation at the requirements of Christ to enter in to Heaven. Take just one example, unless my righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees I have no chance. I could go on and on. I can't do it. Can you measure up to your list? That's why as I'm learning, I must flee to Christ. While it is true that we are saved if we hold fast our profession, if we hold fast it is because He holds us, not because there is anything good in ourselves apart from Him. He calls. He causes true salvation. If it is His salvation, it is complete.
