I think the problem is that you think that the Israel that God is keeping an eye on is a physical nation. Rather, it is a spiritual Israel, comprised of Jews and Gentiles who are trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord, Savior, and king and not in Islam, Judaism, etc. Those citizens of Israel who have yet to believe on Jesus and who he is are no different than his Arab "enemy" |

No more than you'd think that the world has come to an end because of the past 4 years of Obama. You would if you believe all that has been posted here about him.I've yet to hear anyone say that we ought to pray for the president, as we are commanded in scripture to do. We need to be careful that we not compromise the gospel in our attempts to convert a fallen world into the kingdom of God on earth. If you believe that God is judging America for the sins of Obama, what could he possibly have in store for a nation that "calls" itself Christian, but elects to the highest office of the land a man cursed of God. As a mormom, that's how the bible describes him and not me. It's all mute, because I believe that Obama will be providentially re-elected. The decline of "christian" America will continue. You can't legistatively change the hearts of men. Trust in God and not in man, and you will be alright. |
