John UK wrote: It is opposed to the very heart of Christianity to grant awards to men. Which just shows that this is anti-Christ in practice. Mar 10:28-30 Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You." So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. Ruth 2:11,12 And Boaz answered and said to her, "It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge." Ecc_4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. |

Luke 13:31, 32 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him: and Ahab went to meet Elijah. And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? Geff wrote: . Some sinners are more repentant before God than others. Luke 13:1-5 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. |

John Yurich USA wrote: According to Romans 10:9 I am saved because I embraced Jesus as my Personal Lord and Savior and I trust entirely in Jesus alone for salvation, which means the minute I embraced Jesus as my Personal Lord and Savior during that Altar Call at that Non Denominational Church I repented and I Believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. 1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 1 John 2:3-4 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Tit 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. |

s c wrote: "Lost people always act lost".... I would disagree Lost people are not generally speaking anarchist, so civility and etiquette is not uncommon enough that it would make lost people acting lost an inaccurate statement. What is an inaccurate statement is your contention that that Christians are responsible for the way lost people act. Where do you see in the Bible do you find such teaching? The lost follow suit of Christians? This transgender guy is following the actions of previous "Christian" transgenders? I think not. Carnality and worldliness among Christians or so called Christians is by the choices they make and affects them, it is not a guidance book for those who know not Christ. People are responsible for their own actions, passing the blame is as old as Genesis 3. Holiday celebration is not the root of all evil. Nothing wrong with encouraging believers to follow the Bible, love God supremely, obey Him implicitly and avoid compromise and sin. But don't blame Christians for the choices of the lost. The Bible says from the heart actions come. Read Romans 1, II Timothy 3, Genesis 6, Isaiah 55, the lost make the choices they make because of what is in their heart, not because of the carnality of the redeemed. |

I John 3:14We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. passed from death unto life |

Lurker wrote: . Single out Paul as being literally blind . First, will agree that the spiritual blindness which he had was the greater issue and you draw proper analogies from it. Just saying like Rodney, in his case it was both. All of the verses that use the word blinded clearly refer to the understanding, spiritual not physical blindness. In fact blinded and hardened are use interchangably. Joh_12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. Rom_11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded 2Co_3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 2Co_4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 1Jn_2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. |

. Acts 22:11-13 And when --I could not see__every time this word is used in the New Testament is refers to the act of seeing something with your eyes, i.e. when John the Baptist saw Jesus, he said Behold the lamb of God, that is comparing Scripture with Scripture__-- for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, --Brother Saul--__do you call the unsaved, brother?__, --receive thy sight(same term Jesus used when he healed blind man of physical condition and Receive your sight_--. And the same hour-- I looked up-- upon him. |

For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time. Amos 5:12-13. Also.. They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly. Amos 5:10 I agree with W. Pilgrim. |
