Suggest you stop the silly ad hominem and study the glorious Trinity as revealed in the Bible instead. But such backhanded slander about supposed perfection is precisely what Christians can expect in this wicked world when we stand for truth and against those who delete the truth. So be it.
Unitarianism is just as evil whether it be found in Jehovah's Witnesses, Oneness Pentecostalism or ... your favoured Christian Institute.
You say "The Christian Institute is DOING a good work in the UK". On what basis? The Bible says:
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and DO NOT the truth:
and have no fellowship with the fruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
The Daily Mail's Femail column is exactly the sort of place that one would expect such a display of inconsistent, morally vacuuous worldliness to be sourced.
Apparently Christians today have no interest in heavenly-mindedness, holiness or actually understanding the "Crown Rights of Jesus Christ".
"The Christian Institute Who we are The Christian Institute exists for ‚Äúthe furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom‚ÄĚ and ‚Äúthe advancement of education‚ÄĚ."
Really? Again I ask the question: what key historic truth is OMITTED in this foundational statement from the "Christian Institute"? - "The existence of the one, eternal God, Creator and Lord of the universe, who in the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, both governs all things according to his will and is accomplishing his purposes in the world and in the church."
It is not "bone-picking" to observe that such a statement REMOVES the foundational Trinitarian Christian truth of the distinct personhood of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Nor, is it "bone-picking" to observe that such a statement would be fully supportable by antiChristian Unitarian modalists.
The "Crown Rights of Jesus Christ" are being publicly usurped! Do you care?
Angela Wittman wrote: To West Highland White Terror - Let's not get so "holy" minded that we are of not much use on this earth.
AW - I willingly accept your backhanded antibiblical slur. "Let us" be willing to be insulted again for Christ's sake.
It is the holy who are of most use in this earth.
Holiness is not promoted by a message of waiting until 16 for fornication. Under age girls are not just pressured into sex by criminal boys, but by the example of sexually immoral older friends, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, parents, grandparents, etc. "Wait" has no meaning in a moral vacuum. "Wait until your birthday" is unholy and not Christian.
Wait until you have made a marriage covenant with your husband is the only message consistent with holiness.
BTW - what key historic truth is OMITTED in this foundational statement from the "Christian Institute"? - "We are committed to the truths of historic, biblical Christianity including: The existence of the one, eternal God, Creator and Lord of the universe, who in the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, both governs all things according to his will and is accomplishing his purposes in the world and in the church."
