Grace wrote: "We are saved by grace through faith on account of Jesus Christ alone. ... There are Roman Catholics who hold to the essential that we are saved by God's grace. ... From an official Roman Catholic standpoint, [it's not] a crass system of work's righteousness. The idea is that we're saved by God's grace but that grace produces in the life of a believer faith infused with works, and the works are thought to be meritorious. ... It's not a crass system of work's righteousness as some suppose it to be."
But why do the Roman Catholics disobey GOD and worship dead carcase relics? Why reject GOD's Commandment not to make and worship graven images? "Exod 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
"Deut 27:15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen."
GOD states that HE abhors idolatry and the idolater will go to hell. That is the path on which you travel.

Why does the Roman Catholic "church" Commit the sin of idolatry. Break the 2nd Commandment by worshipping graven images. Worship statuettes. Worship icons. Call an ordinary woman a mediatrix thereby blaspheming Christ. Worship dead sinners. Worship relics - various bits of old bodies, wood and other ancient debris. Conduct the blasphemous mass.
Because it cannot read the Gospel or the Old Testament.
Bibliophile wrote: If you don't have an established confession process as we have in the Church, what is your confession process? How exactly do you confess each of your sins?
The Protestant method of confession is the Biblical one. Since you "know" the Bible so well you will know what we mean??? BTW Confessing to another sinner, eg a priest, is a complete waste of time.
WCF "As every man is bound to make private confession of his sins to God, praying for the pardon thereof,[a] upon which, and the forsaking of them, he shall find mercy;[b] so he that scandalizeth his brother, or the Church of Christ, ought to be willing, by a private or public confession and sorrow for his sin, to declare his repentance to those that are offended,[c] who are thereupon to be reconciled to him, and in love to receive him.[d]
