No. Constitutional monarchs respect the sovereignty of Parliament.

"The discussion is particularly animated in the Roman Catholic Church, where despite calls for change, the Vatican has reiterated the teaching that the priesthood cannot be opened to women and married men because of the model set by Jesus."

Probably all that's left of the lost 5th Gospel. The Romish church wouldn't want this papyral fragment to see the light of day.

These "mistakes" need to be put to rest.

You can now add your own excellent commentary to Isaiah 7:14.

Let's see how many interpretations we can get for this and other verses.

So far, there are 106 commentaries for Isaiah 7:14.

Everyone can now add commentary to the Bible: Check out YouVersion. It provides commentary by anyone and everyone (Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, etc) for each and every verse (all 31,103+) of the Bible. It's an idea whose time has finally arrived.

There truly is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. No more guessing at all of the dozens (or hundreds) of meanings for each verse.

Instead of wasting time arguing with Beck, Mormons, Muslims, Catholics or each other, why not sign up today to add your own excellent commentary?

Let's see how many interpretations we can get for a single verse.

Only from the minds of YouVersion™.

Jim - This thread is not about Islam. Stop spamming.

And regarding logic, you need to reread your own posts for you have your logic backwards. You made comments making allegations about the character of the WHOLE program.

Jim - you forgot to mention Peter Jennings.

Of course we know who your pastor is. How could we not?

Most of the sexual abusers featured on that program WERE prosecuted to the full extent of the law. You seemed to miss that when you watched it. You dismissed the ABC program in its entirety - that included the rape allegations, and that included those which have been proven in court. If you have now woken up to that, good!

The case that is at long last finally before the courts appears to have the following facts for verification (a) there was a pregnancy, (b) the girl was 15 and unable to lawfully consent, (c) the man just happened to stand up in church the SAME night as the girl and confess to "adultery" without disclosing who with, (d) even Chuck Phelps believes the man was involved with the pregnancy. In the eyes of the law the man is legally presumed innocent until convicted. Let them weigh the evidence.

Of course we forgive rapists who repent, but you wouldn't trust your children to them. I also wouldn't trust them to men or women who are blindly and callously indifferent to rape victims.

No Veritas, only part of Peter Jenning is moldering in his grave if he didn't repent the important part of him is in hell, sad as it may be to state.
No, this was just a piece of yellow journalism.
No, argument these men, if guilty, should be punished to full extent of the law. This pastor would agree with that I think, Pastor's Response to the 20/20 Report on IFB.
Strange, you've given every indication that you thought the important part of Peter Jennings was spended the last year writing and directing this "yellow journalism"? Or was it his lifeless corpse you've been so upset about?

How could any of these (btw mostly convicted) men be guilty when "this was just a piece of yellow journalism"? Your utter indifference for rape victims is noxious.

Pastor's response, line 4 "There is no network". Yeah, right ...
Seems strange for there to be a lot of IFB folks like you, and your pastor linkman, who are a bit hot under the collar about these reports on churches you have no connection with.

Veritas, I just used one example for ABC's bias against Christians --and Jews-- have you seen any ABC programs on Muslim honor killings? Was Peter Jennings in bed with a leading Palistinian "Christian?"
ABC has never been impartial towards religion, or at least the Judeo-Christian tradition. ............
Peter Jennings' body lies a-mouldering in the grave. His soul aint marching on. The 20/20 reporters have more credibility than Jim.

Suggest you assess these "only 3 cases"
(shameful comment to be found here

Observe also the "moron" personal abuse of the reporter let through in the highly-moderated sermon user comments)

Was the ABC news staff fair and impartial? No.
And your basis for this is an irrelevant statement about a man who had no role in the program who once interviewed a heretic.

Dont bring people to church... its not the churches job to save people... the job of the church is to prepare the deciples to spead the Gospel... now it is okay for someone to get saved in church of course but that is not the purpose of the church...

The thing is that we cannot know the heart of any man. Even though he didnt exactly teach the scriptures who can judge the heart of a man except the Lord our God. Who is to say he didnt have a personal relationship with the Lord? I think alot of the people on this sight need to spend less time debating stupid stuff and more time reading their Bible..
