The problem is religious people can be very dangerous. It was religious people who lied and sentenced my Lord to death.

Of course it is entirely dependant upon God as to whether HE will use His disciples to reach the religious reprobate with the truth.
As Jesus remarked about the religious reprobates, quote;
"22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:" |

What if there was only one central church on Earth and it went crazy? The Catholic Church has a billion people in it. And in my view they left the Gospel a long time ago. This means the vast majority of a billion people, even if they attend their individual churches are not part of the true church because they have not received Jesus as their Savior, trusting in Him completely for their soul's salvation. |
