Why is it that you, as well as almost all churches and Pastors, meet on Sunday saying it is to observe the Sabbath when God clearly said the Sabbath is on the seventh day, which is Saturday, technically from Friday dark to Saturday dark. There is no arguement to be made in Acts when Paul broke bread with and talked to the other desciples all day and all night. It was Constantine of Rome that changed it to Sunday in order for the rest of the people to worship the sun god, NOT the Son of God.
You also allow christmas trees, yet Jer 10:1-4 says not to do as the heathen do. You need to educate the people about the history of christmas and easter and their pagan origins and learn that no matter how much it's sugar-coated in your services, God stictly forbids it. You teach them to break God's commandments through justification of man's law and ignoring Gods Laws. Get back to the roots of the bible and what God actually said to do and not do. I challenge all readers to look up the origins of both christmas and easter on the internet. They were never sanctioned by God or Jesus, quite the opposite.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I agree with your teachings particularly the use of the KJV - I do have an issue with this teaching - you began the teaching with Matt 24:29&30 leaving out verse 28 - please teach the entire council of God any doctrine can be proved when you pick & choose scripture - as much as I enjoy your teachings I don't agree with you here - I feel the reason why you taught this way is because Matt 24:28-30 combined with 2 Thess 2:3&4 destroys pre-millenial secret rapture dispensational heresy.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I'm listening to this teaching and learning from it although I don't know how a teaching on the rapture can completely exclude the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 particularly verses 27-31

People seem to be jumping to the conclusion that the PCA is "clearly" straying from the authority of God's
Word in such a close vote. I would gently caution readers here to look into the matter before passing jugdement so quickly on fellow brothers. The fact that you have godly men on both sides of this issue (Tim Keller, Ligon Duncan, Phil Ryken, Bryan Chapell, etc.) shows that charity toward one another is called for. This is not a debate about women in authority over men; the PCA is decidedly compementarian, without question.

Good message on the preamble to the law. It is often overlooked and overread without a thought.

I prefer the higher thought of thinking on His Glory - even, as the Creator is higher than His Creation.

If Christ died to atone for everyone's sins, everyone would be saved.
If the goodness of God leads everyone to repent, then everyone would repent.
Rogerant,

You have an exalted opinion of the Elect.

That was the problem with the Jews - they thought that they were special because they were chosen of God; however, they were chosen of God not because they were special, but to bring Salvation to the world. In other words, "it wasn't about them," and, I would say to you, "it isn't about the Elect," but that the Glory of God will be revealed in His sons and daughters in the Day of the Lord.

Think on that.
