“ The Tithe ” I stopped listening when I got to the tithe teaching. The truth set me free a long time ago. We are not to give under compulsion. Btw, there were at least 3 tithes.
Hadn't they ought to define it first? Seems to me that they only go by what is perceived by the offended rather than what would actually constitute "hate speech". A religious position on sin would not - should not - constitute hate speech, but has been referred to as such. I agree with a previous commentator that shutting mouths does not change minds. And at least if someone is telling you what they think, you are forewarned. Lord have mercy on us living in such times. Continue to speak the truth in love.
“ Thank You ” Thank you for considering that the widow gave everything because the scribes were "devouring widows' houses" - God bless you - you are the first on this site that I have found that preaches the truth on this issue.
Another choice would have been to have a disclaimer that Catholicism is not Christianity, because there are some true believers that are in the Catholic church (they stay for some reason such as trying to effect change or win their relatives and friends) It's hardly fair to include them in the statement "Catholics are not Christians". There is no doubt, on the other hand, that Catholicism is not Christianity. That disclaimer I heartily endorse!
