I'm an independent voter. Always have been, always will be. I voted for Obama in the last election. Wanted to see us out of the ungodly war in Iraq and eventually the one in Afghanistan. Don't know if I will do so again because of my views on abortion and Sodomite marriage.
Jim Lincoln has it right. How will "republican" christians reconcile their support of Rommey? There is real doubt as to whether or not the current president is a true biblical christian; there won't be any with Rommey. If it is sin, then which would be the greater sin? Voting for Obama or a cultist, who is according to scripture an enemy of the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Maybe the best response would be for all christians to sit this one out. That won't happen, though. We are too personally caught up into the affairs of this world, trying it that were possible to make it more "christian". That is not going to happen no matter who is in White House. Ultimately, it is God who will determine who will govern.
The passage you reference is actually talking about a church office and not a political one. [AUTHOR]CAS[/AUTHOR]Let's prayer for the commander along the lines of Acts 1:20B. ‚Äė Let another man take his office.‚Äô
Palin, needs to start within her own ticket. Both McCain and his unbiblical wife believer in abortion "under extreme circumstance", i.e. rape or incest. Correct me if I'm wrong but killing an infant is killing an infant no matter how you want to label it.
Folks, we have arguably arrived at a point when the true Christian must not participate in the presidential process. Particularly, He/She must abstain from voting for either Obama or McCain. Let's not try to rationalize it by saying "I'm going to vote for the lessor of 2 evils". Both men serve Satan and not God. You only need to look at their voting record and personal behavior to see that.
Actually, at the end of the day Christiana is correct. Whether I vote for Obama or McCain makes no difference. God is the one who will decide who reigns. A lesson in sovereignty for those out there who are trying to advocate that our voting patterns determine whether or not we are a child of God.
